Weobley Castle
Near Llanrhidian on Gower Peninsula stands Weobley castle, a well preserved 15th century castle with commanding views across the Loughor estuary. Much of what is visible today dates from early 1400.The visitor can explore many passages and rooms. There is a small charge payable at the farmhouse in the castle grounds. Within one of the rooms is an exhibition of the history of Weobley and other fortifications of Gower. Ideal for a picnic with views over the estuary.
