Three Cliffs Bay

Three Cliffs Bay is one of the most picturesque beaches of Gower. It takes its name from the three cliffs that jut out into the sea.

Unfortunately access to the beach is difficult and not for the infirm. The beach is sandy with lots of rock pools backed by cliffs which are very popular with climbers. Bathing is dangerous due to strong currents

There are no car parking facilities, but the Bay can be reached by a 10 min walk from the village of Southgate, (parking is rather restricted)or along the A4118 to Parkmill, park and follow signs through wood for beach.

There is a camping site with a spectacular view of the bay. I took the photo above from the caravan.Look out for sign for caravan site after passing the Gower visitor centre.
