Techniquest
Techniquest is the UK's leading science discovery centre.The two floors hold 160 hands on exhibits, puzzles, and scientific challenges to amuse the whole family.
It also has a planetarium which from the outside looks like a giant golf ball (see photo).There is also a hi-tec theatre.
Access for wheelchairs is good, guide dogs welcome.
The photo left show the ground floor which is full of gadgets and scientific experiments to keep the kids (and grown ups) amused for hours.

We are open every day, except 24, 25 and 26 December, and 1 January.
School days : 9.30 - 4.30
All other days: 10.00 - 5.00
Last admission: 45 minutes before closing
Allow at least a couple of hours for your visit.
