Lydstep Haven is a very pretty, privately owned beach consisting of sand and pebbles and backed by impressive wooded cliffs at either end. At the north end of the beach there is a small sandy area exposed at low tide.
The beach is about half a mile long, dominated by the private caravan site behind the beach. Access is from the coast path which runs along the seafront. There is also a free NT car park at Lydstep Headland, from where it is a short walk down a steep hill to the beach. To get to the car park, turn off the A4139 at Lydstep village onto a byway signposted as a no-through road. Continue along a very potholed lane for about 300 yards and turn right to the top of the hill.
Lydstep Haven is off the Tenby - Pembroke road. 3 miles from Tenby. A cliff path leads down to the beach. via a private caravan park.
